Introducing the NeuraLynx Digital Lynx +

Digital Lynx +: The Next Generation Electrophysiology System for High-End Research

Bowdoin, ME – FHC, Inc. proudly announces the launch of the NeuraLynx Digital Lynx + system, an advanced electrophysiology solution for data acquisition, stimulation, and experiment control.

The Digital Lynx + is FHC’s next-generation multichannel data acquisition system, tailored for animal neurophysiology experiments. This premium system is highly configurable to suit your specific research needs, offering up to 1024 channels, digital headstages, and an integrated software interface for stimulation and recording with extensive support for closed-loop applications.

Designed with an innovative, swappable interface, the Digital Lynx + ensures your hardware remains future-proof, supporting both current and upcoming interfaces from NeuraLynx.

Key features of the Digital Lynx + include:

  • Swappable front-end: The Digital Lynx + base acts as a hub that links a front-end interface allowing you to swap between Digital and Analog headstage inputs.
  • Allows the use of different headstage chip types simultaneously: This includes our MUX headstages, the RHD 2132 and RHD2164 recording chips, the RHS2116 stimulating chips and our upcoming iLynx.
  • Increased channel count to 1024: Through excellent software design and efficient CPU usage, Cheetah Data Acquisition Software is able to process 1024 input electrode channels.
  • Experiment control: Cheetah Software provides the ultimate, high-performance electrophysiology recording and experiment control software available for neural signal processing, display, recording and network data distribution for customized, online experiment analysis and control.
  • Software referencing: Fully configurable and flexible referencing for all electrodes, including silicon probe implants.
  • Stimulation: Configure complex stimulation protocols with intuitive user interface in Cheetah.
  • Low Noise: Signal amplification and digitization directly on the headstage to reduce noise, making it easier to visualize and hear signals including lower frequency oscillations such as delta sleep waves.

“Ever since the acquisition of the company, FHC’s goal was to continue to develop high-end research products under the NeuraLynx brand. With the Digital Lynx + we made no compromise in quality and were guided by our relentless commitment to advancing knowledge in neuroscience.” said Cosmin Serban, CEO at FHC, Inc.
