SUMMARY:  The Communications Leader will assist with creating, implementing and overseeing communication programs that effectively describe and promote FHC’s brand and products. This position will act as a liaison between Marketing and the Communications team to help meet growing demands, while helping to ensuring the Communications department’s efforts align with Marketing’s goals.




  • Lead the development of internal and external FHC communications, digital marketing campaigns, news releases, and publications.

  • Assist in providing supervision and direction to the communications department, while working in conjunction with the marketing department.

  • Serve as a leader for promoting and maintaining FHC’s brand.

  • Work closely with Marketing to develop strategic solutions that build brand equity, and deliver measurable results.

  • Help oversee development and maintenance of FHC website. Each quarter, work with web developer to create post-launch strategies for continuous improvement.

  • May participate in planning of tradeshows and technical meetings including exhibit space purchase, booth layout, logistics and booth design.

  • Maintain inventory of communication materials, artwork and archive files.

  • Ensure materials are appropriately communicated to external and internal customers via FHC’s website and the department’s tab of Sharepoint.

  • Assist with layout and final approval of DFUs.

  • Contribute to the creation and execution of DMR4 market launches.

  • Work closely with Business Development and Regulatory to facilitate review and approval of all marketing materials.

  • Take minutes of weekly marketing meetings.

  • Prepare DFU translation files for quote/job.

  • Confer with management to assess communication needs, determine goals and help establish annual budgets.

  • Support written communication and content marketing efforts, when needed.

  • Enthusiastic participation in company sponsored or other community events will be considered in performance reviews.
  • May staff company booth or exhibit at trade shows for coordination.

  • Position requires willingness to work a flexible schedule with frequent extra effort when necessary.



Assist with supervising and leading the Communications team. This position offers career advancement opportunity as the Communications Manager after demonstrating necessary skills, and if the position is available. 



Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or equivalent work experience in one of those fields. Knowledge of various media options including hands-on ability to develop concepts, copy, and presentation alternatives.  Good math skills in order to interpret market research data, trends, and customer survey results, a plus.


High level of energy, positive attitude, strong confidence, mature decision making ability, demanding nature for quality and customer service excellence, and a passion for promoting the well-being of the company, its products, its employees, and its customer benefit.  Understanding of international markets, including selling, marketing, regulatory, and distribution techniques.



Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or equivalent work experience in one of those fields.



$48,000-$55,000 commensurate with experience.



Fluency in verbal and written English required.  Other languages are beneficial, but not required.



Basic math skills to perform office functions and the essential functions of this position.



Analytical reasoning required.
