Fine tipped electrodes to minimize tissue dimpling as they are advanced. Electrodes are intended to be used without a guide tube and have terminating pins for ease of connections. Options are available for Monopolar microelectrodes, arrays of electrodes, conical-tipped concentric bipolar electrodes and multi-contact fine wire cluster electrodes. 

Chronic: Restrained

Microelectrodes designed for chronic research applications on restrained subjects. 140mm long, fine tipped, thin electrodes to minimize tissue displacement and dimpling as they are advanced. These electrodes are intended to be used with a guide tube and are appropriate for choices for most stereotactic micropositioning systems.     

Chronic: Freely Moving

Monopolar and Concentric Bipolar electrodes terminate with a flexible wire. These electrodes are intended to be cemented in place at the skull in research applications requiring microelectrode recording or stimulation with freely moving subjects.

Microelectrode Neurography

Microelectrode neurography needles are electrodes designed to record multi-unit activity from peripheral nerves. These tungsten electrodes are designed with a broad taper and a convex tip to be robust enough to penetrate the skin and to minimize pain experienced during penetration.
