Exciting new technology; multiple micro circuit recording or stimulating contacts along shank with microelectrode tip - provided with easy to load guide tubes (23g standard) for use in acute or chronic preparations.
The Axial Array Microelectrodes truly combine the best of both traditional metal microelectrodes and multichannel array recording and stimulating techniques, namely the ability to precisely place a large number of recording and/or stimulating sites anywhere in the brain, disturbing the least amount of tissue.
- 6 or 12 array sites spaced at 150μm or 300μm along the shank of a microelectrode
- Array sites can be used for recording or stimulation.
- Microelectrode used for arrah placement (mapping), LFP recording, stimulation, or lesioning.
- Micro connector fits available headstages and preamps. Adaptors are available.
- Standard working length of 70mm.
