FHC Appoints New CEO

The Board of Directors of FHC has ratified the appointment of Keri S. Seitz as CEO for the company. Ms. Seitz has been President and Chief Operating Officer for for the past two years.

Board Chairman Frederick Haer announced the appointment at a company meeting, saying “As COO, Keri has earned the respect of FHCers as well as our vendors and stakeholders. In her short tenure, she has made significant improvements to our operations; our revenues have increased over 20% and our profits over 200%. Her direct and positive management style will enable her to lead our company toward our goals of establishing direct worldwide technical support in the next two years as well as continuing our plan to accelerate growth. Her promotion will allow me to focus on customer innovation development and plans to increase our shareholder base.”

In accepting the appointment, Ms. Seitz stated her alignment to FHC’s core values. “Our company has grown by collaboratively innovating with our customers and maintaining an absolute commitment to support FHCers and the communities we serve by remaining a Maine-based manufacturing company. I am excited about looking for new opportunities to support our growth in Maine as we expand our global presence. My recent participation in the Leadership Maine program has shown me what great opportunities we have here.”

Ms. Seitz joined FHC in 2004 in the regulatory/quality department and was promoted to manager in 2009. She was born and raised in Presque Isle, graduated from the University of Maine, and currently resides in Brunswick with her husband, Mark, and their two children: eight-year-old Thomas, and five-year-old Caitlin.
